West Yorkshire Learning and Skills Council
One of the forty-seven local offices of the Learning and Skills Council (LSC), responsible for all post-16 education and training other than in universities. Established in April 2001 their work covers—
- further education
- work-based training and young people
- school sixth forms
- workforce development
- adult and community learning
- information, advice and guidance for adults
- education business links.

The West Yorkshire Learning Consortium is a co-operative of voluntary and community sector organisations who have an interest in learning and skills.
