Emergency Planning

[Regional Resilience Forum] (RRF) is the process by which organisations with an interest in civil protection issues in Yorkshire and the Humber co-operate with each other. Due to its key role, the RRF attracts senior level representation to discuss issues of strategic importance.

[Regional Multi-agency Resilience Sub Group] was brought together at the request of the Regional Resilience Forum. It acts as a formal sub group of the forum and will assist in the delivery of the aims of the RRF within the region. Representatives of the sub group come from a broad range of organisations within the civil protection community. The group operates at practitioner level and as such, members have the specialist knowledge to implement actions and workstreams decided upon.

[Yorkshire Regional Flood Defence Committee]. The Committee supervises all matters relating to flood defence and land drainage, including the activities of 30 Internal Drainage Boards. RFDCs are made up of representatives appointed by local authorities, DEFRA and the Environment Agency.
