The Draft Plan sets out the long term strategy for the Region and was first published in December 2005 following which there has been an extensive consultation processs. The proposed changes are now out for a 12 week consultation. This is the last opportunity to influence the content before the final plan is produced.
It is important the final plan is accurate as it will play a key role in delivering more sustainable development and in supporting the continued economic, social and environmental transformation of our region’s cities, towns, rural and coastal areas
